Middle School Tailgate Party September 8th
All students in grades 6-8 are invited to a tailgate party before the Bluejay home football game on September 8th. During the tailgate, students will participate in organized games and activities. For example, we will have dodgeball, kickball, yard games, and more. Teachers will grill out hot dogs for dinner and then participants will head to the football field for the game. The cost of the tailgate includes entry into Memorial Stadium for the game and special seating in the Bluejays end zone.
Come join the Middle School Teachers, have fun, and cheer on the Bluejays!
When: Friday, September 8, 2017
Where: Drop your child off at the Jack Anderson Ball Park (Softball/Baseball Fields). Plan to pick up your child after the football game at Memorial Stadium.
Why: Cheer on the Bluejays!
Cost: $10.00 (Includes activities, dinner, game admission, and 2nd quarter popcorn)
School Picture Day Tuesday, September 19th
Strap on your smiles and check your hair before you leave home on Tuesday, September 19th, for school picture day. Students at both the elementary and middle/high school will be given packets with information for school pictures the week before. There are several different packages with various prices that you may purchase. Students must have their packet, with the money enclosed, at the time they get their picture taken. You may also order online before the picture day, by following the directions on the packages that your student brings home. Should you have any questions about picture day or packets feel free to contact the office at your child’s building

The Louisville Area food bank will have new hours beginning Sept. 7th
The Louisville Area Food Bank will be open on the first and third Thursdays of the month from 6-7 p.m. beginning on Sept. 7th.
The food bank is located in the First Christian Church 304 Main St. next to Copple's in Louisville.
Low income residents are welcome to come to the twice a month give away. Please bring a box to put items in.
This food bank is for residents of the Louisville Public School District.

Special Advocates (CASA)
Cass Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) is currently recruiting CASA advocates to speak up for the best interest of abused and neglected children in Cass County.
The next training session is scheduled to begin October 1 and will run for five weeks. The training consists of 15 hours of online training and 15 hours of in-person training.
