Sideline Power Celebrates Record Breaking Employees

Sideline Power is excited to announce Employee of the Year for 2022 has been awarded to Anchor Audio Specialist, Randy David. Having joined the team at the tail end of 2021, David quickly established himself as the authoritative expert on all things Anchor Audio, but he didn’t stop there. A true utility player, David quickly expanded his role to include service and support for all Sideline Power products. Whether he is building remote control kits for End Zone Camera systems, testing headsets, or handling minor maintenance and facilities issues around the office, David is a critical component of Sideline Power’s success in 2022. “He’s never NOT doing something. When he’s not working on his Anchor responsibilities, he’s taking support calls and chats, or helping with service and shipping, or packing gear for trade shows. He just works hard and always with a smile and a laugh,” said CEO and Owner, Matt Starr. Vice President of Sales, Marc Sheil, quipped, “Randy is great! He is always exceeding the goals and expectations we set for him and it’s amazing to see him break the million dollar sales mark his first year on the team.”

Randy David is one of two employees to join Marc Sheil in the Sideline Power - Million Dollar Club. Another relative newcomer, Jason Kazar, Regional Manager, worked hard all year long to turn opportunities into sales. “I was really impressed when Marc hit over a million [dollars in sales] last year, but to have TWO reps join him this year is pretty amazing and a testament to all the hard work this team puts in on a daily basis,” stated Starr.

Sideline Power has quickly grown into the #1 Choice for Coaching Communications in the high school football industry. Providing tech and gear ranging from coaching headsets to camera drones, Sideline Power helps football programs get #PoweredUP.

NATIONAL BLOOD CRISIS!

Worst Blood Shortage in Over a Decade!

The American Red Cross is facing a national blood crisis – its worst blood shortage in over a decade, posing a concerning risk to patient care. Doctors have been forced to make difficult decisions about who receives blood transfusions and who will need to wait until more products become available. Blood and platelet donations are critically needed to help prevent further delays in vital medical treatments. Please schedule your blood donation today.

About blood donation

To donate blood, individuals need to bring a blood donor card or driver’s license or two other forms of identification that are required at check-in. Individuals who are 17 years of age in most states (16 with parental consent where allowed by state law), weigh at least 110 pounds and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood. High school students and other donors 18 years of age and younger also must meet certain height and weight requirements.

Donors can also save up to 15 minutes at the blood drive by completing a RapidPass®. With RapidPass®, donors complete the pre-donation reading and health history questionnaire online, on the day of donation, from a mobile device or computer. To complete a RapidPass®, follow the instructions at RedCrossBlood.org/RapidPass or use the Red Cross Blood Donor App.

In most cases, those who have received a COVID-19 vaccine can donate. However, knowing the name of the manufacturer of the vaccine they received is important in determining donation eligibility

Blood drive safety

Each Red Cross blood drive and donation center follows the highest standards of safety and infection control, and additional precautions – including face masks for donors and staff, regardless of vaccination status – have been implemented to help protect the health of all those in attendance. Donors are asked to schedule an appointment prior to arriving at the drive.

About the American Red Cross:
